Gustavo Rondina's Personal Page

I am Gustavo G. Rondina and this is my piece of web. I was born on July 16, 1984, at Marila, a very pleasant city located in the center-western region of the great state of Sao Paulo, in Brazil. On December, 2005, I obtained a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from Centro Universitario Euripides de Marilia (UNIVEM). I still had the wish to understand a lot of stuff, so now I am an undergraduate student (again!) at the University of Sao Paulo (USP), of the Physics Institute at Sao Carlos (IFSC), and I am currently taking the fifth semester of Computational Physics.

I am pretty much a regular geek guy. I enjoy reading, studying, playing Go, watching animes, reading comics, and, most of all, I love to learn. I also like tea (green tea). And computers, I love them. Also, I support the free software movement because written code is also a form of knowledge, one which must be studied carefully in order to master it, and I do not accpet the idea of restricting access to knowledge, be it computer code or something else.

I am a major fan of John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. His books, his work and his life have offered me a world of fantasy where I wish I were part of. So far I have read The Lord of The Rings, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales (some of this books more than once). I believe he was a great man with a wonderful mind, one who had access to a tiny slice of our history that very few people have ever had. He saw how the world was at the start of times, the rise and fall of the elves, the great battles between good and evil, the rise and the corruption of the race of men, the elvish bards with their magic sounds and poems, the splendor and highness of the ancient cities, but also the simple beauty of the yellow pastures and of rivers crossing lands inhabitated by innocent and bucolic people. His contribution to our society was more than a literary one. He donated us his time and shared with the world all this beautiful tales and stories he had saw. Now he rests his blessed soul in the holy house of Mandos. May Iluvatar take care of his soul, his mind and his genius until the Music of the Ainur is complete. I'm sure now he is part of the story he loved so much and to which he devoted his life and his passion. Thank you Professor, you will always live in our hearts. Your will and aptitude in the art of story telling continues to move us each and every day.

I am a friend of Israel and I support my brethren sons of Jacob. Let us not allow the anti-semitic and anti-christian mass media twist the facts and delude society. Let us stay together, united we stand, for we are the believers, and God loves His children.

I am a friend of Israel!
